Privacy Policy

Rocket Wreck is built to be played, not to collect data. This policy explains, in plain language, what the app does and doesn't do with your information.

The short version

You can play Rocket Wreck without an account, and if you do, nothing leaves your device. If you create an account, we store your username and your game progress so you can sync across devices, battle other players, and appear on the leaderboard. We never show you ads, never use your information for advertising, and never sell it to anyone.

Playing without an account

No account is required. If you play without logging in, the game saves operational data — such as which levels you've completed, your current progress, and any cosmetics you've unlocked — locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is deleted if you delete the app.

Playing with an account

If you choose to create an account, we store the following on our servers:

• Your username and password. We do not ask for your email address, real name, or any other personal details — an account is just a username you make up and a password.
• If you sign in with Apple or Google instead, we receive the email address that service shares with us and use it only to identify your account — never for marketing. Apple lets you hide your real address, and your email is never shown to other players; you still pick a made-up username for everything public.
• Your game progress: which levels you've completed, the level you're currently on, and your level completion times.
• Your in-game items and cosmetics: coins, skins, trails, engines, and similar unlocks.
• Your access level (for example player, superfan, or developer).

What other players can see

Some things are visible to other players, tied to your username:

• When you battle another player, they see your username.
• If you post a high score, your username and score can appear on the leaderboard for other players to see.
• Your level times contribute to percentile rankings.

Since your username is the only thing other players ever see, pick one that doesn't reveal who you are if you'd rather stay anonymous.

What we never do

• No advertising, and no use of your information for ads — ever.
• No selling or sharing of your data with third parties for their own use.
• No analytics or third-party tracking of any kind.

Where your data lives

Account data is stored with Supabase, the infrastructure provider that hosts our database and login system. They process this data on our behalf and don't use it for anything else.

Network access

Rocket Wreck can be played entirely offline without an account. The game connects to the internet only for account features: logging in, syncing progress, battles, and the leaderboard.

Children's privacy

We don't ask for names, email addresses, birthdays, or any other personal details from anyone, including children. The only thing a player ever provides is a made-up username, and we encourage everyone to choose one that isn't their real name.

Deleting your data

You can permanently delete your account and everything tied to it directly in the app: log in, tap your username on the main menu, then choose delete account. If you can't access the app, email us atsupport@rocketwreck.com and we'll remove it for you.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the game changes how data is handled, we will update this policy and the app's App Store privacy label before that version is released.
